100th Day of School

Wednesday, January 27, 2010 by Ginger Catoe
Yesterday was our 100th day of school. School-wide, we collected 100 Pennies for Pets. The grand total will be announced soon! I can’t wait!

We also had SEA time yesterday for clubs to meet. I met with my Princi-PALS, and we discussed our upcoming Spring Carnival. The students gave me lots of great ideas to share with our PTA.

In Mrs. Todd’s room, students wrote 100 words, flipped a penny 100 times and tallied the results, tossed a die 100 times and tallied the results and also make 100 Day bookmarks!

In Mrs. Reno’s room, students wrote in their journals about “100!” Natalie said, “I like the 100 day because I can bring in a dollar or one hundred pennies or ten dimes!” Joshua noted that he made a timeline for the 100th day!

Mrs. Haigler challenged us all to give our students and colleagues “100 praises.”

It was a great day!
